2. - Friends of the Library

Friends of the Library Promoting reading and Literacy, the purpose is to aid and support the operations of the libraries in Rosarito. With the libraries, it promotes reading and literacy in Rosarito, especially among the underserved children.

3. - Boys and Girls Club of Rosarito
The Boys and Girls Club of Rosarito opened in Rosarito Beach in the summer of 2012. The Club’s mission is to construct a facility for children between the ages 6 to 16 which will serve as a space for developing positive and constructive habits and the ability to interact socially through human development programs and comprehensive prevention.

4. - The Baja Scholarship Foundation
The Baja Scholarship Foundation was founded in 1995 with the goal of supporting outstanding students in the Rosarito area (northern Baja) who are at risk of leaving school due to financial hardships. It is a US tax-exempt organization with 501c3 status currently, the BSF supports 47 students attending a variety of different schools in the area from primary to high schools. Most of our college students attend universities in Baja California. Every student holds two things in common: outstanding scholarship and a genuine risk of dropping out of school due to financial needs.

5. – Baja California Spay Neuter Foundation
The Mission is to end unwanted litters of dogs and cats, homeless animal suffering, and overpopulation by providing low-cost, high quality, spay and neuter services. To promote and provide advanced spay and neuter education and training to veterinarians, while promoting the cause of humane animal care and responsible animal ownership through community education.

6. - The Flying Samaritans
The Flying Samaritans is an all-volunteer organization of professionals and non-professionals from many different walks of life who are interested in helping provide health services at no charge to the people in Baja California, Mexico, who otherwise have no access to medical care. We are physicians, nurses, dentists, pilots, translators, and many others who want to volunteer our time and service to give others the opportunity to become healthier. Flying Samaritans is a non-sectarian
organization and our by-laws clearly establish that our purpose is to offer medical assistance and education to the people in rural areas of Baja California, Mexico. All Samaritan clinics are operated free of charge to patients.

7. - Red Cross
The Red Cross is in the center of Rosarito, next to the Abraham Lincoln elementary school and behind the Commercial Plaza Ejido Mazatlan.

8. – All the Pretty Horses of Baja
At All The Pretty Horses of Baja – Rescue & Rides, the work with horses and other animals that have been abandoned or suffering from neglect is a labor of love. Nothing gives pretty horses of Baja more joy than to see what plenty of food, good care and kindness will do for horses (dog, cats and squirrels too) that need a helping hand. The horses are gentle and well trained so everyone from the most experience rider to the littlest cowboy or cowgirl can enjoy a ride. They also give lessons, do group rides and teach kids how to care for horses.

9. – DIF (Desarrollo Integral Familiar)
The National System for Integral Family Development is a Mexican public welfare institution founded in 1977 that focuses on developing well-being of Mexican families. DIF is located next to city hall of Rosarito.

10. - Rancho del Niño
The children's home/orphanage functions exclusively from private donations and volunteer work provided primarily from the Kiser church, and a group of local residents who chip in each month to help balance the budget for some of the food, school expenses, heating fuel, supplies, staff salaries, clothing, basic maintenance, and assist with general improvements always greatly needed. The mission of the Rancho Del Nino de Nueva Vida association is to fund and guide a positive environment that promotes the growth of underprivileged youths, in need of a communal family experience, in the Rosarito area. To assist in fostering the potential of these children and effect a constructive social change by doing so.
