2014 Mexico Real Estate Recap By Max Katz - Baja Real Estate Group
Max Katz, Broker and Owner of the Baja Real Estate Group, recaps what 2014 was like for the Baja Real Estate Group as a brokerage and an update on the current Mexico real estate market on Northern Baja.


Hi! Max Katz here with the Baja Real Estate Group.

Once again we’re recapping our past year, 2014 ended with a bang!  We were Voted 2014’s Baja’s best Real Estate office by Baja Good Life Club.

The year came with lots of excitement, success and triumphs for all of Baja to enjoy, especially, when HGTV’s House Hunters International filmed and aired 2 episodes focused on Buying a Home in Rosarito Beach Mexico area.



We congratulate Kathy Katz and her Clients for doing such an amazing job in showcasing home buying in Rosarito.

We are not just retirement and Second homes, Northern Baja continues to be recognized worldwide as a Foodie Destination.
Making headlines, magazine cover stories, newspapers and mayor media outlets.  Just recently our own Javier Plascencia, a famous regional Chef, appeared as a mentor on the ABC program ‘The Taste’.

NBC 7’s Money Matters hosted by George Chamberlin welcomed Baja Real Estate Group’s Larry French and his client to talk about real estate in the area and the ongoing changing laws. Just another example of how our Agents and Brokerage is perceived.

Along with good media came home sales. 2014 brought great success for our Agents. The last 6 months have been marked by a surge in interest and sales.

The under 200k price range inventory is getting harder and harder to find, resulting in home price increases. This is been  good news for home sellers, prices are on the rise and homes are not staying on the market for long and all our listing are getting shown, thanks to our market presence.

Traffic to our website and walk-in traffic has been up and has not slowdown to date.

The Marketing team is in full swing introducing videos, drone photos, virtual tours and major online advertising. Not to forget a real estate column in our local newspaper the Baja Times Called Kathy’s Real Estate Round Up.

Recently, The Girls in Bajamar moved to a new location and sold 2 homes as they were moving. If you are looking for a home in Bajamar make sure to stop by their office.
